As part of the expansion of own range of electric drives, ALUTECH informs about the launch of a new product to the market — a tubular motor ALUTECH AM1/15-13 for roller shutter systems (Fig. 1).

New electric drive with 15 Nm torque complements the AM1 series. Thus, the extended range of ALUTECH drives allows not only to choose the most suitable solution for the most common openings, but also to optimize the cost of the roller shutter system.

In addition to the changed technical characteristics, the new electric drive AM1/15-13 has several peculiar features:

• New «Star shaped» head, thanks to which there is no need to install additional cotter pins (Fig. 2).
• Reduced overall dimensions of the drive allow it to be used in narrower openings.
• Improved thermal switch design protects the motor from overheating even more reliably.
• New design of adapters.

In addition, thanks to the use of a more efficient electric motor, the new drive maintains guaranteed performance even during fluctuations in the mains voltage.
