ZIP system
The fabric is integrated directly into the guide rail using the ZIP-lock mechanism. ZIP systems are suitable for openings with an area of up to 16.8 m².
The ZIP system fabric fits tightly within the opening, helping to protect the area from insects. Airflow is maintained thanks to the perforated fabric.
Profile and fabric colours can be selected to match the facade, allowing the external sun shading system to blend harmoniously with the building exterior. The system features a compact headbox, available in 110 or 125 mm sizes, and slim guide rails measuring 33×43 mm.
Special PVC fabric manufacturing technology improves resistance to fading caused by sunlight and other adverse environmental effects.
Cable-guided system
Stainless steel side cables provide greater installation flexibility. This allows the system to be installed even on fully glazed facades where conventional guide rails cannot be fixed.
For regions with low wind loads
Cable-guided external sun shading systems are designed for buildings without increased wind-resistance requirements.
For corner openings
The cable-guided sun shading system has no side guide rails, allowing it to be installed at 90° glass-to-glass corners.
Compatible Solutions
Flush integration of SL 130 patio systems with VS-ZIP sun shading
A single facade plane — the SL 130 (160) and VS 125 systems are installed flush with each other. The guide rails form a continuation of the frame and have the same 45 mm face width, while their depth matches the 125 mm VS headbox.
Integration of VS-ZIP with the F50 facade system
The F50 & VS solution integrates external sun shading seamlessly into the F50 facade. The sash and sun shading guide rail share the same 50 mm face width. A twin guide rail allows several units to be combined.

Sun shading systems for private houses
Types of Installation
Sun shading systems can be installed in both glazed and open openings. Depending on the project requirements, you can choose between surface-mounted, built-in or hidden installation.
Surface-mounted installation
The headbox is installed above the opening on the faсade. This installation method allows the opening to be used to its full height.
In-between installation
The headbox is installed within the opening. This keeps the faсade free from protruding elements, although the usable opening height is reduced by the height of the headbox.
Hidden installation
The headbox is installed in a pre-prepared recess above the window or door opening. Once installed, it remains hidden, providing the cleanest and most discreet appearance.
