Industrial doors ProPlus series are balanced with the system of individually selected torsion springs, thus the door can be opened or closed manually. To open an Alutech industrial door, one needs to apply force below 260N (≈26 kg), whereas the weight of the door leaf can exceed 600 kg.

A chain host can be used to facilitate manual raise of the door. Its transmission ration equals to 1:4 and makes manual control of the door easier. Opening and closing of the door is done with a steel rope actuating the host mechanism.

A special block can be additionally used to open the door manually. Thus, opening and closing of the door is performed with rope hanged over the block and attached to the final panel of the leaf. It is recommended to use the block if the door is over 2 m high with an area up to 15 m².

Automatic Control

For automation of industrial doors Alutech offers automatics of high quality and reliability, in particular manufactured by Nice, Marantec, AN-Motors.

The drives are installed directly on a sectional doors shaft. Such shaft-mounted drives allow to operate industrial sectional doors of big sizes (up to 45 sq.m.). Moreover, the doors can work with high open/close frequency. Such drives can be installed in unheated places or the ones with high humidity.

Automated doors are easily controlled with a button panel or a remote control.

Safety and control system components, such as induction hinges, signal lights, photocells, optical sensors, various remote controls, etc., ensure safe operation of the door in optimal access modes.

Ceiling type power drives are used to automate industrial doors of low and inclined installation types. The drive with power rod is installed directly under the room ceiling. Sectional doors are moved via a belt (chain) located in the power rod.
