Roller garage doors can be installed with a shutter box or without it on consoles.
Main advantage of the roller garage doors on consoles or with end caps with roller carriages is a smooth and safe movement over guide rails and reduction of bending loads on the suspender components, which significantly increases the durability of the door. Assembly without shutter box is suitable only for indoor installation.

Installation of roller garage doors can be planned at the stage of construction as well as after the building has been built, The following installation types can be distinguished:
The curtain of roller garage doors is made up of aluminum roll-formed and extruded profiles.
The profiles are made of high quality aluminum lath with a two-layer lacquer coating notable for its high wear resistance. Due to foam filling the profiles feature good thermal and sound insulation properties.
Wind range of end slats enables the choice of both, economy version (ES/77) and profiles that can be equipped with key lock RL/77 and wind lock SH/77 (ESR/77 and ESR/77R). Two design options of key lock profiles provide installation of the key lock both from the outside and inside depending on the installation type and customer's preferences.
For roller garage doors the Alutech Group of companies offers 4 guide rail sizes: GR70x34E(IE/BE), GR90x34E(IE/BE), GR90x33(I), GR100x35IE.
The GR70x34E(IE/BE) guide rail can be delivered with inserts and also with brush inserts. Besides the insert grooves the GR90х34E(IE/BE) guide rail has an additional brush insert groove. The GR90x33(I) guide rail is an economical solution for roller garage doors components. This guide rail is delivered with inserts. The reinforced GR100x35IE guide rail with wind locks ensures high load wind resistance.
The guide rails are applied with the AG/77, AG/77H, EV/77W, EA/77, AEG84, AER84, AEG45/S laths and the SF250a, SF300a, SF360, SF360/C, SF405/C end caps.
To ensure high load wind resistance it’s possible to use the SP/77-MSW, SP/77-MSM side locks with the GR100x35IE, GR70x34E(IE/BE), GR90x34E(IE/BE) guide rails. The side locks are placed in the AG/77 lath.
Roller carriages are designed to be installed into end caps SF250а and SF300а, SF250a-R and SF300a-R and ensure smooth entry of the roller garage door curtain into the guide rails. Maximum permissible weight of the curtain of roller garage doors with RC is 120 kg.
Steel end caps SF360/S are used for installation of roller garage doors together with shutter box SB45/360. BRC console is used for a box-free type of roller garage doors installation. Main design peculiarity of these products is the application of general-purpose roller carriages for a tube installation. The carriage installed on four bearings ensures smooth and safe movement over guide rails and makes it possible to reduce bending loads on the suspender components, which significantly increases durability of roller garage doors. Maximum admissible weight of the roller garage door curtain with SF360/S and BRC is 200 kg.
In order to increase curtain abrasion hardness and ensure good winding parameters it is recommended to use with RT70x1,2 tube as suspension elements RDS70/77 distance rings and accessories: SS190RDS retainer springs or AEG77F retainer profile.
SH/77 wind lock provides additional wind stability to the roller garage door curtain, thus preventing it from being blown out of the guide rails and enables installing roller garage doors in openings of greater size
